The scale of a shared listening (Kensington variations)

The scale of a shared listening (Kensington variations) is the sound component of the project. It will be accessible to listeners in the following ways:

Part 1. A series of text scores, which has been generated through solitary listening within local locations, will be placed on the front door each morning, and will be there for the rest of the day. To perform the score, take note of the text, and go to the location. While there, approach the score as a set of soft instructions. The performance can take any amount of time, but should not exceed the allotted permitted hour of exercise, even if it changes the experience of time within that hour. If you have a response to the score of any kind, send your response to aless.formal@gmail.com. Material received will be incorporated in the transmissions in part 2:

Part 2. A transmission will be sent into the airwaves between 5:00pm and 8:00pm daily. These transmissions will only be audible within a few meters of the corner of Parsons St and Rankins Road, on the frequency 104.5FM. Bring a radio or a radio-enabled phone to tune in to the work.

An arc is just a line you can bend (clockwise)

An arc is just a line you can bend (clockwise) is the visual component of the project. It will be projected between 5:00pm and 8:00pm daily, and will be most visible after dark. To see it, go across Rankins Road and stand under the tree across the road. The work can be seen through the left hand upstairs window.
